Sonia Medina-Ashby & Joe Bettencourt, Founders of the Joseph Bettencourt Foundation, established the non-profit organization in memory of their son Joseph, who passed away in an unfortunate skateboarding accident in 2018. JBF is committed to supporting the wellness and growth of children in the community by providing sports registration fees, uniforms, and safety gear.

Joseph Bettencourt Foundation offers durable safety equipment for skateboarding, such as helmets, knee pads, and elbow pads for kids to ensure the ultimate protection.
The safety gear for outdoor activities prevents severe injuries and reduces the intensity of injuries.
